Founded in 2014, The Cat Cafe is home to 29 furry felines – 15 at Bugis and 14 at The Rail Mall, who were once abandoned by their owners or were strays. Inspired by other cat cafes overseas, The Cat Cafe was founded to share the joy of two loves – felines and food! The Cat Cafe menu has been carefully curated, serving only quality coffee and desserts. The aim is to provide a comfortable environment for patrons, good food, and healthy cats.
The Challenge
An IT whizz himself, Workforce management systems were not new concepts to Founder, Jefferson Soh. Jefferson long understood the benefits and time savings that leveraging on technology will bring to the business and has adopted a workforce management system since the beginning.
However, the cost of traditional systems that Jefferson had adopted were ever increasing. Furthermore, with plans to expand operations from one outlet to two, this prompted Jefferson to look for other alternatives in the market.
The Solution
Jefferson heard of StaffAny through a word-of-mouth referral. Since Jefferson was on the lookout for an alternative to his current system, this was timely as StaffAny has parallel features to what Jefferson was already using. Previously, the app that Jefferson was using did not have such an intuitive and clean interface as compared to StaffAny. This allowed Jefferson to cut down from 3 hours a month spent scheduling to just half an hour to one hour per month.
